The plan this year was to catch the Ferry to Scotland and visit some friends and family as we made our way to the south of England then somehow get to Europe and visit the Pyrenees. Then catch a Ferry back to Ireland from Bilbao.
The ferry to Scotland was to sail on 12th of May, we drove from Cairnryan to the Falkirk Wheel.  We overnighted at Falkirk then drove up to Tomintoul, near Avimaor to visit Mary and Laurence. As we drove up a new light on the dash board came on, a freezing warning! it was only 4 Degrees outside.
We had lost touch with Mary during covid and it was fantastic to catch up with her and Laurence.  We stayed in the village at the Bowling Club Aire which worked out really well.
It was just like picking up were we left of the last time we spoke.  We had a lovely time and it would be great to get back.
As you can see from the bottom photo is was baltic!
Back down to the Falkirk Wheel for two nights.  We intend to visit Graham and Chantelle on Sunday.  On Saturday we were able to do a few laundry washes and ride our bikes along the tow path to the Kelpies
