Well the princess party is over and that is the GB finished for another year.  The weather is fantastic and forecast to be so for the rest of the week.  So with preparations in hand we head up to Portrush.
With Lorraine being there over the weekend she had a fresh insight into what Protrush has to offer.   We had overlooked Portrush as we would mainly have spent time in its neighbour Portstewart.
We had a look at a street park up, but based on the signs we headed around to old faithful.  The motorhome Aire at the Sandown Road.  The aire was full by the time we arrived so we had to park up in the unofficial overflow.  First thing in the morning we took our chance top get a spot in the main motorhome car park, as another van had just moved on.
We had a very leisurely start, and headed to the White House for a morning coffee.  Lorraine showed me a blanket she had spotted at the weekend. Last night was a cold evening so another blanket would be welcome.
We went for a nice stroll exploring new places and walks.  With the weather being so good we went back to the van an grabbed a few things then went towards the harbour to find some where to sit and enjoy the warmth of the sun.
When we went back to the van we prepared chicken for tea and Lorraine wend down to the chip shop and got us a portion of chips to go with the chicken and peas.
We decided to stay here Wednesday night and plan to head towards Benone tomorrow.  The guys next door said the weather was forecast to hold to the weekend, Happy days!
